This tutorial was written by me on February 10th, 2015 and was written assuming you have a general knowledge of PSP. You will need the following supplies:
Gorgeous "Inspired By" scrapkit by BabyCakes Scraps. IB Jennifer Janesko 24-3 is available to purchase at CDO. This kit is elegant and truly stunning, I loved working with it!
Of course, the beautiful tube is by Jennifer Janesko, who was with CILM when I purchased it, but her work is now at CDO.
Template 738 by Millie's PSP Madness.
Mask #11 by Horseplay's Pasture.
My Word Art, HERE. Or create your own.
Font of choice - I used Whisper, a pay font.
~~ Remember to save often! ~~
Place the mask in your PSP mask folder or a folder of your choice.
Open the template, shift + d to duplicate, close the original. Delete the credit layer and layers 9 and 10. Change the canvas size to 800 x 750. Unhide the background layer and flood fill the blank area with white.
Activate layer 1; select all, float and defloat. From the kit, resize paper #3 60%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Invert selection and tap delete. Deselect and delete original layer.
Follow these steps for the following layers:
Layer 2: use paper 3
Layer 5 & 6: use paper 2
Layer 7 and 8: use paper 3, resize 50%
Activate layer 3; select all, float and defloat. Add a new raster layer, zoom in and flood fill with #611611. Deselect and delete original layer. Apply drop shadow of choice or use my settings - 2, 2, 68, 5
Activate layer 4. Select all, float and defloat. Add a new raster layer and flood fill with #611611. Deselect and delete original layer. Duplicate the new layer and apply Screenworks, Lace Screen with the default setting.
Edge Effects > Enhance.
Change blend mode to Lighten and reduce opacity to 50. Merge this layer with the original.
Apply drop shadow of choice to all template layers, or use my settings - 0, 0, 68, 12.
Copy and paste your tube and arrange at the bottom of the tag. Duplicate and apply gaussian blur with a radius of 5 to the original tube layer. I used this instead of a drop shadow as I wanted a softer effect.
Copy and paste my Word Art, or create one of your own. Place as shown on my tag.
Add your elements, I used:
#3: resize 50%, then 95%
#5: resize 95%
#8: resize 75%, free rotate 10° right. Paste again and resize 75%, then 85%
#16: resize 50%; duplicate and mirror
#25: resize 35%
Apply drop shadow of choice to all elements, or use my settings - 2, 2, 68, 8.
Change foreground to gradient, choose Foreground/Background from the drop down menu. Style: Radial, Angle: 45, Repeats: 5, Invert: unchecked.
Hide the background layer and merge visible. Unhide the background and add a new raster layer. Flood fill the new layer with the gradient. Apply Horseplays' Pasture mask #11 and merge the mask group. Use the raster deform tool to adjust mask size and placement, if desired.
Crop and resize your tag. Add your name and all copyright and license information. Save as a png and you're finished. I hope you enjoy your new tag!
Until next time ...
