Dark Magic

This tutorial was written by me on July 7th, 2015 and was written assuming you have a general knowledge of PSP.  You will need the following supplies:

"Magic of ChiChi - I" is a stunning scrap kit by Gothic Inspirations.  There are so many wonderful elements in this kit I had to force myself not to use 'em all, LOL!  You'll find it at Gothic Inspirations store HERE

"Regina" is a beautiful tube by Alehandra Vanhek, and was a prepaid exclusive from Pics For Design.  If you don't have this tube, simply substitute another.

Mask #110 from Designs by Vaybs.

Eye Candy 4000, Gradient Glow

Font of choice; I used Angilla Tattoo, HERE.

Drop shadows used:

For scrap elements: 2, 2, 69, 10
For tube: 0, 0, 69, 10, followed by 2, 7, 36, 18

~ Remember to save often! ~

Open a new image 850 x 800, white background.

From the kit, open Frame 2 and resize 80%.  Copy and paste, move a little to the left on the canvas.

Using the magic wand, click inside the frame.  Selections > Modify > Expand > expand by 5.

Open Paper 6 and resize 65%.  Copy and paste as a new layer, move below the frame.  Invert selection and tap delete.  Do not deselect.

From the elements folder, open Lightning and resize 70%.  Copy and paste above the paper and arrange as desired.  Tap delete.

Open Magic Flowers, do not resize.  Copy and paste as a new layer and arrange at the bottom of the frame, see my tag for placement.  Tap delete.

Open Glitter, do not resize.  Copy and paste as a new layer and arrange as desired, tap delete.  Duplicate, arrange and tap delete.

Open Beads and resize 80%.  Copy and paste as a new layer and arrange at the top left.  Tap delete and deselect.

If you're using the same tube I did, resize 35%.  Copy and paste as a new layer and arrange on the right side of the frame.  Apply drop shadows listed above.

Add the rest of the elements, I used:

Bush: resize 70%, duplicate twice
Butterfly: resize 20%, then 85% twice; duplicate and mirror
Dirt: do not resize, duplicate x2 and arrange as shown above the background layer.
DoodleRoses: resize 50%; duplicate and resize 80%
Flowers1: resize 45%
FlowerBuds1: resize 30%; duplicate and mirror
Grass: resize 60%; duplicate and mirror
Twig: resize 70%; free rotate 70° left

Apply drop shadow listed above to all elements.  Hide the background layer and merge visible.  Resize merged layer 80%.

Unhide background layer and add a new raster layer.  Select all.  Open Paper 5, copy and paste into selection.  Deselect.  Apply DBV mask #110, merge mask group.  Use the raster deform tool to adjust mask size and placement.

Open Clouds and resize 70%.  Copy and paste above mask layer, arrange at the top.

Crop and resize your tag, I resized mine to 675 x 556.

Add your name and apply Gradient Glow using the fat preset, changing the colour of both paint pots to #e2e1e0.  Apply drop shadow 2, 2, 69, 8.

Add all applicable copyright and license information, save your tag as a png and you're finished!  Thanks for trying my tutorial!

Until next time ...
