This tutorial was written by me on March 31st, 2014 and was written assuming you have a working knowledge of PSP.  You will need the following supplies:

"Hibiki" is a gorgeous tagger-size kit by Scottish Butterfly Creations and is available at Heartbeatz Creationz.  Thank you Heidi!

I used the stunning artwork of Marco Guaglione who was with PTE when I purchased this tube.  The tube came with a main tube and two close-ups.

Template #26 by Scrapity Scrap and More (aka A Space Between).

Mask #79 by Designs by Vaybs.

Font: I used Sumdumgoi Regular, HERE.

*Note: When referring to drop shadows, I use the following abbreviations:

V = Vertical
H = Horizontal
O = Opacity
B = Blur

~~ Let's get started! ~~

Place the mask in your PSP mask folder or a folder of your choice.

Open the template in PSP, shift + d to duplicate; close the original.

Delete the credit layer.  Change the canvas size to 800 x 700.  Activate the background layer and flood fill the blank area with white.

Activate the circle layer.  Select all, float and defloat.  From the kit, open paper 5 and resize 70%.  Copy and paste as a new layer.  Invert selection and tap delete.  Do not deselect.  Open the second close-up tube.  Mirror and resize 95%.  Copy and paste as a new layer and arrange as desired within the selection; tap delete. Change the blend mode to Multiply.  Deselect and delete original layer.  Apply a drop shadow to the tube, I used V&H: 2, O: 40, B: 12.

Activate the top rectangle layer.  Select all, float and defloat.  Open paper 1 and resize 65%.  Copy and paste as a new layer.  Invert selection and tap delete.  Deselect and delete original layer.  Repeat for bottom rectangle.

Activate frame backdrop layer.  Select all, float and defloat.  Open paper 7 and resize 70%.  Copy and paste as a new layer.  Invert selection and tap delete.  Do not deselect.

Mirror the first close-up tube.  Copy and paste as a new layer and arrange within the selection.  Tap delete and deselect.  Change the blend mode to Soft Light.  Delete the original layer.  Drop shadow the tube using the same settings as above.

Activate circle border layer.  Select all, float and defloat.  Add a new raster layer and flood fill with #090100.  Deselect and delete original layer.  Apply drop shadow, I used V&H: 2, O: 55, B: 8.  Repeat for the remaining border and frame layers.

Activate the dotted lines.  Select all, float and defloat.  Add a new raster layer and flood fill with #c8b687.  Deselect and delete original layer.  Apply drop shadow above.

Copy and paste the main tube as a new layer and mirror.  Place as shown and apply drop shadow above.

Add your elements, I used:

Tree Branch 2: resize 40%.  Duplicate and mirror.  Duplicate and free rotate 45° left.  Arrange the layers as shown in my tag.  Merge these 3 layers together and arrange above the background layer on the left side.  Duplicate the merged layer and move down.  See my tag for placement.  Drop shadow.
Lamp: resize 40%

Angel Heart

This tutorial was written by me on March 21st, 2014 and was written assuming you have a general knowledge of PSP.  You will need the following supplies:

"Soft and Romantic" is a lovely kit by Sweet Occasion Designs and is available for purchase at Heartbeatz Creationz.  Thanks so much Karen!

I used the beautiful artwork of Carol Moore.  "Angel Heart" is available for purchase at PSP Tube Stop.

Template #519 from Divine Intentionz.

Mask #35 from Moonbeams & Spiderwebs.

Font: I used Passions Conflict, a pay font.  A web search will result in multiple links.

*Note: when referring to drop shadows, I use the following abbreviations:

V = Vertical
H = Horizontal
O = Opacity
B = Blur

~~ Let's get started! ~~

Place the mask in your PSP mask folder or a folder of your choice.

Open the template in PSP, shift + d to duplicate; close the original.

Delete the credit layer and Raster 7.

Activate Raster 1.  Click the Layer Link Toggle so it changes from "None" to "1".

Repeat this for the following layers:

Rectangle
Raster 6
Copy 2, 3, 4 of Raster 6 (notice there are two copies of Copy 2)

All these layers are now linked together and you can move everything to the bottom of the template, as shown on my tag.

Hide all layers except for Raster 6 and all its copies.  Merge visible; rename the merged layer Small Hearts.  Unhide the other layers.

Resize all layers 90%.  Change the canvas size to 800 x 750.  Flood fill the blank areas of the background layer with white.

Activate Raster 10; select all, float and defloat.

From the kit, open paper 4 and resize 55%.  Copy and paste as a new layer and arrange as desired.  Invert selection and tap delete.  Deselect and delete the original layer.  Apply a drop shadow of choice or use my settings: V&H: 0, O: 35, B: 15.

Follow these steps for the following layers:

Copy of Raster 10: use paper 4
Raster 11 and copy of Raster 11: use paper 8
Raster 9 and copy of Raster 9: use paper 1
Raster 8 and copy of Raster 8: use paper 5
Raster 3: use paper 4.  Do not deselect.  Resize tube 70%, copy and paste as a new layer and arrange within the selection as shown.  Use the eraser to remove the parts of the tube that are outside the selection at the bottom and sides.  Deselect.  Add a drop shadow of choice to the tube, or use my settings: V: -5, H: 2, O: 20, B: 15

Change foreground to #e0b4be and background to #e0debd.  Change foreground to gradient with these settings:

Drop down menu: Foreground/Background
Style: Radial
Angle: 50
Repeats: 5
Invert: unchecked

Activate Raster 2.  Select all, float and defloat.  Add a new raster layer and flood fill with the gradient.  Deselect and delete the original layer.  Apply same drop shadow you've been using for the other template layers.

Activate Raster 4; select all, float and defloat.  Add a new raster layer and flood fill with foreground colour.  Deselect and delete original layer.

Apply an inner bevel:

Apply drop shadow: V&H: 2, O: 43, B: 8

Repeat these steps for Raster 5, using the background colour.  Apply the same inner bevel and drop shadow.

Activate heart 1.  Select all, float and defloat.  Add a new raster layer and flood fill with foreground colour.  Deselect and delete original layer.

Apply an inner bevel:

Apply drop shadow above.

Repeat these steps for heart 2.

Activate Raster 1.  Select all, float and defloat.

Change the foreground to gradient with the same settings as before, but change the style to linear and check the Invert box.  Add a new raster layer and flood fill with the gradient.  Deselect and delete the original.  Apply drop shadow.

Activate rectange; select all, float and defloat.  Add a new raster layer and flood fill with background colour.  Deselect and delete original layer.  Drop shadow.

Activate Small Hearts; select all, float and defloat.  Add a new raster layer and flood fill with foreground colour.  Deselect and delete original layer.  Drop shadow.

I added text above the two heart layers using Passions Conflict, size 48, stroke 0, background colour.  Drop shadow: V&H: 1, O: 38, B: 3.

Add your elements, I used:

Butterfly1: resize 20%; free rotate 15° right.  Duplicate and mirror.
Lacedoily1: do not resize.
Roses1: resize 30%.  Using the freehand selection tool, carefully draw a selection around the stem where it connects to the rose.  Tap delete and use the soften brush to remove any harsh edges.

Before using Soften brush:

And after:

Copy and paste as a new layer.  Free rotate 6° right.  Arrange on the right side of your tag.  See my tag for placement.  Duplicate, mirror and arrange on the left as shown.

Drop shadow the elements, I used V&H: 2, O: 43, B: 8.

Hide the background layer and merge visible.  Unhide the background and add a new raster layer.  Flood fill with the same gradient used for the large circle, but with the invert box checked.  Apply Moonbeams & Spiderwebs mask #35 and merge mask group.

Crop and resize your tag.  Add your name.  If using the same font, I used size 48, stroke 0, background colour.  Apply drop shadow.

Add all applicable copyright and license information.  Save as a png and you're finished.  Enjoy your new tag!

I love to see what you create with my tuts, email your results HERE.
