Cherry On Top (FTU)

This tutorial was written by me on June 8th, 2014 and was written assuming you have a general knowledge of PSP.  You will need the following supplies:

Wonderful FTU scrap kit by Jackie's Jewels.  Download from her blog HERE and please remember to leave some love for hard work freely shared.  :)

Gorgeous tube by Verymany, available from their store HERE.  The tube is  called "Denny" and is also FTU!

Template #41 by Twyzted T's Playroom.

Mask #81 by WeeScotsLass.

Plug-in: Eye Candy 4000, Gradient Glow

Font: I used Jandles, HERE.

~~ Let's begin! ~~

Place the mask in your PSP mask folder or a folder of your choice.

Open the template in PSP, shift + d to duplicate; close the original.  Delete Raster 12 and 8.  Resize all layers 90% and change the canvas size to 800 x 800.  Unhide the background layer and flood fill the blank area with white.

Activate Raster 2.  Select all, float and defloat.  From the kit, open paper 2 and resize 70%.  Copy and paste as a new layer; invert the selection and tap delete.  Deselect and delete the original layer.

Follow these steps for the following layers:

Raster 4: use paper 11
Raster 3 & Copy of Raster 3: use paper 8
Raster 5: use paper 9
Raster 7: use paper 8 (resize 85%)
Raster 6: use paper 1

Apply drop shadow of choice to the frameless elements.  I used 0, 0, 57, 12.

Resize the tube 50%, then 85%.  Copy and paste as a new layer.  Apply drop shadow of choice or 2, 2, 57, 10.

Add your elements, I used:

Button: resize 30%; duplicate and mirror
Cherry Basket: resize 50%
Cupcake: resize 30%
Flower Cluster: resize 50%; duplicate, mirror and arrange on the left side.  See my tag for placement.  Merge these two layers together; duplicate and mirror.
Milkshake 2: resize 40%
Purse: resize 55%
Rose: resize 50%; duplicate.  Free rotate copy 15° left and arrange next to the original.  Merge down, duplicate and mirror.
Shoes 2: resize 25%
Wordart: resize 90%

Apply drop shadow of choice to all elements or use my settings above.

Hide the background layer and merge visible.  Resize the merged layer 85%.  Unhide the background and add a new raster layer.  Select all.  Open paper 6, copy and paste into the selection.  Deselect.  Apply Gaussian Blur with a radius of 15.  Apply WSL mask #81 and merge the mask group.  Adjust mask size and placement using the raster deform tool.

Open Sparkle 1 and resize 95%.  Copy and paste above the mask layer.  Arrange as desired.  Duplicate, mirror and flip.

Crop and resize your tag.

Add your name using the Jandles font.  I used size 72, stroke 0, colour black.

Eye Candy 4000 Gradient Glow.  Under the Colour tab, select Black Halo and change the colour pots to #a3111e.  Under the Basic tab, change the Glow Width to 3 and Soft Corners to 0.  Apply drop shadow 2, 2, 65, 8.

Add all applicable copyright and license information.  Save as a png and you're finished.  Enjoy your new tag!  If you'd like to show it off, please email me HERE.  I love to see what you create!

Hugs, Carol♥︎
