At The Tiki Bar

This tutorial was written by me on July 7th, 2013 and was written assuming you have a general knowledge of PSP.  You will need the following supplies:

"Tropical Jewels" tagger-size scrap kit by Cindy's Creative Design.  This is a beautiful kit in bright tropical colours, thanks so much Cindy!  Find it at TKO Scraps.

Tube ©Dean Yeagle.  Dean was with CILM when I purchased this tube, you can now find his tubes at CDO.

Mask #80 by Vaybs.

Font: I used Buffet Script, HERE.

Drop shadow used throughout: H&V 2, Opacity 53, Blur 10.

~~ Remember to save often! ~~

Place the mask in your PSP mask folder or a folder of your choice.

Open a new image, 800 x 750, white background.

Add a new raster layer and select all.

From the kit, open Paper 5.  Copy and paste into the selection; deselect.  Apply DBV mask #80 and merge the mask group.

Open Palmtree1 and resize 80%, then 90%.  Copy and paste as a new layer and move to the right side.  Duplicate and mirror, arrange as shown in my tag.

Resize the tube 80%; copy and paste as a new layer and move between the palm trees.

Open Sand1, do not resize.  Copy and paste as a new layer above the background layer.  Duplicate and resize 70% and move below the original, arrange on the left side.  Duplicate again and move the copy to the right side.  Duplicate one more time and resize 70%, move to the center, under the two previous layers.  Merge these 4 layers together.

Now add the rest of your elements, I used:

Avacados: resize 15%, then 85%
Dragonfly1: resize 15%, then 85%
Drink1: resize 30%, then 80%
Drinks2: resize 30%, then 70%
Flower1 & 2: resize each 25%
Flower4: resize 15%
Flower5: resize 10%; duplicate and mirror; resize 85%
Flower9: resize 15%, then 70%, then 80%
Flower10: resize 15%, then 70%
Grass1: resize 30%, then 70%; duplicate and mirror, resize 80%.  Repeat as desired.
Mask1: resize 40%
TikiBar1: resize 55%

Apply drop shadow to all layers.  Hide background and mask layer, merge visible.  Resize merged layer 90%.

Crop and resize your tag.  Add your name.  I used Buffet Script, size 72, Stroke 0, background set to #004f77.  Apply drop shadow.

Add all applicable copyright and license information.  Save as a png and you're finished.  I hope you enjoy your new tag and I'd love to see your result!  Email me HERE.

Hugs, Carol♥
