Love Don't Live Here Anymore

This tutorial was written by me on March 17th, 2013 and was written assuming you have a general knowledge of PSP.  You will need the following supplies:

Scrap kit: I used an awesome scrap kit by Gothic Inspirations called "Love Don't Live Here".  Love this kit, it was so much fun to play with!  Thanks so much Jess!

Tube by Anna Marine, available at CDO.

Mask #119 by Designs by Vaybs.

Font: Rat Infested Mailbox, HERE.

Drop shadow used throughout, unless otherwise noted: H&V 2, Opacity 75, Blur 8.

~~ Remember to save often! ~~

Place the mask in your PSP mask folder or a folder of your choice.

Open a new image, 750 x 750, white background.

From the kit, open Frame 3 and resize 55%.  Copy and paste as a new layer.

Using the magic wand, click inside the frame.  Selections > Modify > Expand > expand by 5.

Open Paper 2 and resize 70%.  Copy and paste as a new layer.  Move below the frame and arrange as desired.  Invert selection and tap delete.  Do not deselect.

Open Tree1 and resize 40%.  Copy and paste as a new layer and arrange on the left side.  Tap delete.

Open House and resize 55%.  Copy and paste as a new layer; tap delete.

Open Dead Grass and resize 70%.  Copy and paste as a new layer; tap delete.

Open Fence and resize 80%.  Copy and paste as a new layer; tap delete.

Open Fog, do not resize.  Copy and paste as a new layer above the paper layer and arrange as desired.  Tap delete and deselect.

Resize tube 90%; copy and paste as a new layer and arrange on the right side of the frame.  Apply drop shadow.  I used V 2, H 7, Opacity 55, Blur 15.

Add your elements, I used:

WordArt 4: resize 60%
Blood Pool: resize 50%
Blood Splatter: resize 60%
Dying Flower: resize 30%; duplicate twice, mirror once
Tree 2: resize 70% and mirror
Lantern: resize 45%

Apply drop shadow indicated in introduction to all elements, including the frame.

Crop and resize your tag.  Add your name using the font Rat Infested Mailbox, size 48 to 72 (depending on the size of your tag and length of your name), Stroke 0, background colour #660000.  Apply drop shadow above.

Add all applicable copyright and license information.  Save as a png or jpg and you're finished!  Thanks for trying my tutorial.

Hugs, Carol
