I Wish ...

This tutorial was written by me on November 29th, 2011 and is the result of my own ideas.  Any resemblance to any other tutorial is purely coincidental and unintentional.

PSP version used: X2, but should work in other versions.

This tutorial was written assuming you have a working knowledge of PSP.

Supplies Needed

Scrap kit of choice: I used a stunning full-size kit by Stina of Designs by Stina called "Jacaranda Blue".  What a lovely kit this is!  You can purchase it at Aussie Scrap Designs.  Thanks so much Stina!

Tube of choice: I used a beautiful tube by The Vintage Angel™ by Jessica Galbreth.  You can purchase these tubes from CDO.  You must have a license to use.

Mask of choice: I used mask #25 by Weescotslass.

Font of choice: I used Miss Lankfort, a pay font.

Drop shadow used throughout, unless otherwise indicated: H&V 2, Opacity 58, Blur 12.

~~ Remember to save often! ~~

Place the mask in your PSP masks folder or a folder of your choice.

Open a new image, 750 x 750, white background.

From the kit, open Frame01 and resize 20%.  Copy and paste as a new layer.

Activate the background layer.  Open a paper of choice and resize 15%, copy and paste as a new layer.

Using the freehand selection tool, draw a selection around the frame, like this:

Ensure the paper layer is activated, invert the selection and tap delete.  Do not deselect.

Copy and paste the tube as a new layer.  Resize 75% and arrange within the frame.  Tap delete and deselect.  Drop shadow frame and tube.

Add your elements, I used:

Bird: resize 5%
Birdcage: resize 15%
Doves: resize 5%
Hearts01: resize 20% (Drop shadow: H&V 2, Opacity 25, Blur 12)
Floral04: resize 7%
Floral05: resize 17%
Bougainvillea03 & 04: resize 15%, then 85%
Butterflies: resize 10%
Butterfly05: resize 5%, then 70%

Drop shadow all elements.

Hide the background layer and merge visible.

Unhide the background layer and add a new raster layer.  Select all.  Copy and paste a paper of choice into the selection.  Deselect.  Apply the mask and merge the mask group.  Use the raster deform tool to adjust size and placement to your satisfaction.

Crop and resize your tag, add your name and all applicable copyright and license information.  Save as a png or jpg and you're finished.

I'd love to see your results, email me HERE.

Hugs, Carol
